I attended Texas Tech University, where I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I then pursued my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas. As an LPC-Associate, I am supervised by Shannon Dusza, LPC-S. I am a SYMBIS Facilitator for premarital counseling.
While completing my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I worked as a Behavioral Health Counselor in an inpatient facility for the treatment of eating disorders. I have worked with adolescents and adults during various stages of life. I hope to provide clarity and direction in a counseling relationship that is built on compassion, validation, collaboration, acceptance, and trust. I desire to walk alongside each of my clients by valuing each and every one’s unique story while providing encouragement and support.
About Me: I am from a small-town, called Leonard, Texas (No worries, most people have never heard of it either). I am a wife, and dog mama to the cutest Golden Retriever named Belle (my own, entirely biased opinion). I enjoy baking and I’m a lover of all things SWEET!
I love reading and finding the next best bingeworthy show. I am Auntie Jay to several nephews and nieces and enjoy spending time with my family as often as I can.
